Grant to Greens Norton Community Choir

Background

GN Community Choir has been going in the village for over ten years and we meet in the GN Community Centre each Friday during term time. Our ethos is that everyone is welcome to join, no auditions. We are self-funding and keep our fees as low as possible so as to not exclude anyone.

Specific needs

The choir performs several concerts locally a year and we needed new music folders for each member as our old ones were not uniform and were inadequate to hold our music.

The Grant Process

This was relatively easy, the Choir had to provide evidence of our financial viability together with costings for the folders and that the Choir was based and of benefit to the village.

Outcomes

The Greens Norton Community Choir now has 30 new music folders to use at our concerts.
